Global Health Alliance participated in a DynaMed Medical Software training session this morning at Puntland State University, delivered by Dr. Maryan, one of our Champions previously trained through our partnership with KidsCare Everywhere. The session was facilitated by GHA Super Champion and Country Director Yonis Abdulkadir.
This comprehensive two-day training will benefit 35 students from various health-related departments, including Nursing, Midwifery, and Clinical Officers programs. By providing access to evidence-based clinical decision support tools, we’re equipping the next generation of Somali healthcare providers with resources that will directly improve patient care and outcomes.
The training represents GHA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Somalia’s health sector and supporting all students pursuing healthcare education. By integrating modern clinical tools into medical education, we’re ensuring that graduating healthcare professionals have the knowledge and resources needed to serve their communities effectively.
We extend our deep gratitude to KidsCare Everywhere for their pivotal role in securing this software and for their essential contribution to the training we conducted in October 2024. This partnership demonstrates how collaborative efforts can create lasting impact in healthcare education and delivery.
Through initiatives like this, we’re building the foundation for a stronger, more capable healthcare workforce in Somalia, one that can meet the complex health challenges facing our communities with confidence and expertise.
