Global Health Alliance (GHA) is honored to participate in two major global gatherings in respiratory care this year. Our CEO and Founder, Dr. Ikraan Abdulle, is representing the organization at the AARC Annual Congress and the International Council for Respiratory Care (ICRC) Annual Congress. These events bring together leaders, researchers, and practitioners who are shaping the future of respiratory health around the world.
Advancing Respiratory Care Through Global Collaboration
GHA’s participation highlights our commitment to strengthening respiratory care services in Somalia and across Africa. Through our ongoing collaboration with the Africa Respiratory Care Association (ARCA), we continue to build partnerships that support clinical training, expand access to lifesaving care, and promote sustainable improvements in health systems.
Engaging at the AARC Annual Congress allows GHA to connect with experts in respiratory therapy, share insights from our work on the ground, and identify new opportunities to enhance respiratory care for the communities we serve.
Day Two of the ICRC Annual Congress 2025
GHA is also proud to join global health leaders on the second day of the ICRC Annual Congress in Phoenix, Arizona. This congress is a key platform for advancing knowledge, strengthening international cooperation, and recognizing excellence in respiratory care.
The discussions and sessions during the congress highlight a shared goal: improving access to high-quality respiratory services for all, particularly for vulnerable mothers and children in low-resource settings. As respiratory illnesses continue to be a major threat to child and maternal health, GHA remains committed to addressing these challenges through training, advocacy, and strategic partnerships.
Looking Ahead
Our involvement in these global congresses reinforces GHA’s dedication to building strong, resilient health systems in Somalia and the broader African region. By exchanging expertise, learning from global leaders, and expanding meaningful collaborations, we are taking important steps toward improving respiratory health outcomes for the communities we serve.
Together, we breathe hope into communities and work toward a healthier future for all.
